The color of the cases make them look magnesium. I don't know metallurgy but anything magnesium is cool in my book.
I wish I had something magnesium on my bike.

Thanks Gary. The bike is something else. Just real pure.
Jake, those cases are standard duty HD 45, but in the right light and with a little oil mist on them they do look like magnesium.
