Leah and I took a trip down the road to the Ballard Locks. In this pic. a large boat had just been lowered down on the right side. Left side water high, right side water low.

L for Leah. This is one of the dividers in the fish ladders. The fish get beyond the L, back 'er in, and can rest there.

Nope, no fish this time of year. Leah asked every fifteen minutes if I thought they might be back yet.
Great pics, some how I missed the last one when I looked at the post the first time. I have sailed into that marina at about the same time/light, super cool.
I live just the other side of the mountains that are on the horizon. GREAT POST.
